Of Mice And ... Chickens?!
So I'm at home, or maybe my parents' home, and my peeps (probably my parents, I'm not too sure now) go out for a short trip to the store. The minute they walk out the door, the rodents come out. White and grey, babies and big fat rats, they run across the room toward the closet. I follow them there, and I see 6 or 7 tails ranging from 3" to 8" long coming out of a corner. There looks to be a little hole in the wall that they've all tried to squeeze into at the same time, and they're momentarily stuck.
And then a chicken runs by. And then more. They look sorta like the Embarcadero Chicken I encountered last month. Well, at least I think they were chickens. It's kinda fuzzy to me now. The chickens all run into a different hole in the same closet corner.
The mice eventually sort themselves out and push their way through the hole in the wall. I can't remember about the chickens. There might have been something else running around. Spiderpedes, perhaps. My peeps come home and we go into a lopsided hardware store next door.
